In-Short:
Question: Should SDR support sales or marketing?
Nick: I’ve actually seen it done both ways before. I think it’s an interesting concept that the whole group is kind of put together and I think it really does make an impact versus just having an SDR under marketing or sales and making it more siloed. It’s important to kind of work as one unit.
Question: What do you think are some of the best practices for field marketing and sales alignment?
Nick: Field marketing needs to look at sales and it’s like that is their customer and it’s important for retail marketing to be kind of like the single source of truth in everything.
Question: How do you develop an actionable field marketing strategy?
Nick: I think it’s working really closely with sales, and so I think it’s developing campaigns around the theme of the quarter.
Question: What are some of the best free marketing, even ideas you’ve come across or executed?
Nick: Something that I think is really impactful right now is we started doing these roundtables.
